Dr. Kaytlyn found how crucial lifting is for those who are dealing with aches and pains. As a lifter herself, she constantly got fed up with health care providers saying, "if it hurts, just don't do it" or hearing "how dangerous lifting is" when in reality it's what makes us, us.

Living with pain was something I had been doing for over a decade. I started the process of getting a referral to see the surgeon, do an MRI and get a diagnosis. It was going to be 10 days to get an appointment and start the process, so I was prepared to just put life on hold. My first call was to my personal trainer to let him know and he recommended I see Dr Kaytlyn Wells for an evaluation. We worked together twice a week for around 6 weeks, but my right shoulder was 80% better within the first 2 weeks.
For anyone who is looking to push their body to the limits and has experienced an injury in the process, Beyond Recovery is THE rehab professional to see. I'm a powerlifter and rock climber who has experienced a string of injuries over the past few years, and my outcomes with other physical therapy providers have been pretty lack-luster. They would get me back to mostly pain-free at rest, but there was no support for my performance goals, which ultimately set me up for further injury when I did start to push my limits again.
3 years ago I injured my shoulder area and was very much in pain. I reached out to Kaytlyn because I had talked to other people she had worked on and was told how good she was a a a physical therapist.she took me on as a client and got my shoulder back to fully healed. I have lived with low back pain since 1994. Numerous doctor visits and always the same old thing, pain management cause nothing they can do. February 2020 low back pain became hip pain and knee pain and I had a profound limp. By March 2021 I had been sleeping in a recliner for nearly 8 months and could barely work or enjoy my family and off time. April 2 2021 I met with Dr. Wells and with in 7 days was walking virtually without a limp and pain way decreasing. By week 4 sleeping in bed, by week 7 I was doing so well I nearly forgot I had been in such bad shape. Dr. Wells knows her business and works tirelessly to help you. Her treatments had a huge impact on me mentally and physically and made a huge impact on my life in a positive way. I am so glad I found Beyond Recovery and Dr Wells.
When I started working with Dr.Wells I was skeptical of being able to have a pain free left shoulder due to a dislocation. I was missing out on motocross, lifting, and normal activities that would cause shoulder pain on a regular basis. During the evaluation there is a sense of confidence she has in her knowledge which leaves you knowing pain will be only in the past. In order to ensure the recovery is the best it can be is to follow Dr.Wells instructions on everything. After a few short months I was living a normal life again enjoying motocross and lifting again pain free. Kaytlyn has been amazing to work with. I am an online client and the initial evaluation was very thorough and then she designs your plan based on your individual needs/goals. She checks in weekly to see how I am doing and provides feedback of my videos. My pain was gone in 2 weeks. I’ve seen progress in my mobility which I was severely lacking. I also feel like I am getting stronger on this program as well as she keeps weightlifting in her program. I would highly recommend working with Kaytlyn!
